“Lessons from the Wilderness, pt.2 (Deuteronomy 2:4 - 3:29)", Will DuVal | 2/1/26

As we noted in our introduction to Deuteronomy, the book is mostly comprised of three sermons Moses preached to the people of Israel just before they entered the Promised Land. This Sunday, Moses continues his first sermon by recapping their journey through the wilderness and reminding God’s people of the lessons He has taught them over the past 40 years. As God’s new covenant people, still living between our own “exodus” (salvation) and our eventual homecoming to the better “Promised Land” (Heaven), we need these reminders today just as much as the Israelites once did.
