Lessons from Triathlons
from The Job · host Jonny Bevan - The Police Burnout Coach
In this episode I am joined by Nat GEORGE who is a DS from Wiltshire. Nat started triathlons back in 2010 and now 15 years later she is competing in Ironman, having entered five and completed three.I asked Nat to come on the podcast because she is an inspiration to me. She has taken small consistent steps which has led to big results and shares many lessons from her training and competing that transfer to every day situations. In our conversation we talk about how her initial belief is what got her going and how surrounding herself with like minded people with the same beliefs helped drive her on.I think what makes Nat's story so inspiring is that she talks about the failures and how she has built a positive mindset towards these failures so that she can learn from them and keep moving forward. Nat talks about the importance of prioritising and being able to say "No" to things that are not aligned to those priorities.Have a listen and see and I'm sure you will pick up lots of useful tips.
