Lessons on the Way

from Walk With Me #Deararn. · host anne ajadi

Lessons On The Way Driving on the freeway, there are loads of signs. Some billboards spread across the whole freeway, some are just barely legible. Some you see clearly from afar, for some you must slow down to make out what has been written. Life talks daily. Some days the sound is so loud a deaf man can hear. Other days, you could barely hear the whisper. Yet, you need to hear all that speech to be able to make it through life. Are your senses sharpened? Do you even listen? What voices govern your decisions? Where are you in this journey of life? Is this your morning? Are you in midlife? Is the sun setting yet at your end? The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. (Psalms 19:1-4) For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. (Romans 1:20) Out in the open wisdom calls aloud, she raises her voice in the public square; on top of the wall she cries out, at the city gate she makes her speech (Proverbs 1:20-21) Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? At the highest point along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; beside the gate leading into the city, at the entrance, she cries aloud (Proverbs 8:1-3) Some lessons are learned just walking paths; some are right at the gates whilst some you must dig through tunnels. As varied as we are, we find that God has left for each one of us lessons on the Freeways of life. Whatever we do, we must pay attention. The billboards of life are just as important as the handbills. Some milestones are legible, others have seen better days and so can barely be seen. What we must bear in mind, however, is whether it's the written signs or the faded ink on the milestone, we need the information to go through life. Sometimes, you must run, other times walking is just fine and yet some other time, you must slowly tread. Wherever you are now, you must read the signs, heed the warnings or you may be sorry. Seeing that there is time for everything under the sun, we must ensure that we do not do in the morning what should happen in the evening. I say again, my friend, pay attention. Read the signposts! Your life guide, God the Holy Spirit, is ever so willing to show you what you need to know. Embrace Him and don't ignore Him. He holds the signs. amazon.com/anneajadi anneajadinspirations.com Instagram/arnajadi Twitter/arnajadi Facebook/anneajadi Youtube/anneajadi BOOKS BY Anne Ajadi: YOU WILL MARRY WELL GODS LADY IN WAITING WALK WITH ME IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF JESUS STRENGTH FOR THE JOURNEY HEART MATTERS, LIFE MATTERS
