"LEST WE FORGET PASTORS - PANDEMIC HEROES"

from The Well After Hours - Host Beverly D. Allen · host Beverly D. Allen Ministries, LLC

LEST WE FORGET PASTORS - PANDEMIC HEROES" The Pandemic of 2020 was only four years ago, called by Dr. Anthony Fauci, "the most historic virus outbreak in U.S. history in over 100 years. A period no one knew how or when it would end, yet many Black Pastors prayed and believed, while struggling to keep their doors open, assisted communities, already dealing with great challenges, come through emotionally, mentally, and spiritually! Food supplies, medical supplies, hospitals, and medical facilities were challenged as never before around the world. There were many heroes from various walks of life during the Pandemic, but the Black Church has been questioned as to its purpose and relevancy for today's times even when they have always been a driving force uplifting Black and Brown communities. Though it seems as life has moved on and returned for many to the things which were before the Pandemic's horrific outbreak, The Well After Hours would like to look back and reshare some of the pastors who shared at THE WELL to remind us how our Souls got over by The Grace of our LORD and the consistent prayers, faith, and help of God's Shepherds, The community's Pastors. Rev. Melvin Wilson, Sr. Pastor of Saint Matthew AME Church In Orange, New Jersey was a guiding light of hope and help not just in their city, but in the state of New Jersey as well. Pastor Wilson represents many pastors who worked tirelessly along with their congregations to help move God's people through some of the worst times of their lives. Lest we forget their sacrifices, let us continue to remember and thank God for them and pray for them, their families, and churches. #pandemic #2020 #justice #covid19 #faith #believe #prayer #theblackchurch #podcast #prayer #jesus #bible #scripture #biblestudy #blackpeople #liberation #justice #politicalnews #
