Is the heart of man in a reclining position Is Jesus asleep in a boat while the storm rages and the disciples panic Is Paul thankful for the privilege to be a witness in chains Is total surrender to the sovereignty of God and then total enjoyment of the life of God Is a quiet prayer when the phone rings late at night Is grace when your authority is being challenged Is a relaxed Spirit when the baby is sick, the car won't start and your husband has to work late Is rest when there are no visible fruits to your ministry It is a gentle response to a harsh accusation. It is a soft - thank you Lord when the cheque doesn't come in the morning mail It is the absence of panic in a crisis. It is a river that flows through a Christian's heart watering His garden of hope while choking out the weeds of fear It is Jesus with the steering wheel of your life
