It’s been said that training camp is an opportunity for all 32 NFL teams to improve depth by building their rosters from the bottom up – to mine for hidden gems among the world’s best 2,880 players that currently comprise NFL rosters prior to the first cut down date of September 1. Just four days later that total will drop over 41% to 1,696 players. Preseason football, fake games to many but real important to the future of many NFL careers.
