(00:00-26:04) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing last night’s World Baseball Classic Championship with the United States falling to Venezuela. They also discuss some of the terms that we have read so far on the WNBA and the WNBPA agreeing to terms on a new collective bargaining agreement. (26:04-34:11) – Las Vegas and Seattle are gaining momentum as two potential cities for expansion teams in the NBA. Jake spotlights the history of Seattle with the Supersonics and promotes where you can be tomorrow for the show! (34:11-46:04) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake clarifying that he does not envision the Indiana Pacers leaving the city after speculating what the future of the franchise looks like after Herb Simon. (46:04-1:09:32) – Joel Erickson from the IndyStar joins Query & Company to discuss what the trade value is for Anthony Richardson right now from what he has heard, address Jake’s concern that nobody will acquire Richardson because it would seem the Colts will release him. Jake also brings up a conversation that hasn’t been had about the Indianapolis Colts since the passing of Jim Irsay, what is the future of the Colts in Indianapolis? (1:09:32-1:22:41) – The Indiana Pacers lost their 15th consecutive game last night, remaining the only team that has yet to win since the All-Star Break. Jake and Eddie highlight a couple takeaways from the game and wonder how different the Pacers could look stylistically next season with pairing Ivica Zubac with Tyrese Haliburton and, hopefully, their first round draft pick. (1:22:41-1:31:14) – Hour number two of Query & Company concludes with Jake and Eddie talking about what happened last night in Dayton with Miami keeping its season alive and gaining some fans with their win over SMU. (1:27:41-1:56:38) – Tony East from Locked On Pacers, Forbes Sports, and Circle City Spin joins the show to discuss what terms he knows of right now in the agreement between the WNBA and the players association. Tony answers some questions on how the expansion draft and free agency timeline will work in the WNBA. Jake also asks Tony about the early returns from Ivica Zubac in a Pacers uniform. (1:56:38-2:09:02) – Jake and Eddie recap the ending of the Ohio State and TCU game because with the way it ended, it seemed like the Buckeyes weren’t prepared for a moment like that. Jake goes through some of the last second shots that we talk about frequently because they all had one thing in common in Jake’s perspective. (2:09:02-2:13:07) – Today’s show closes out with JMV joining Jake from Union Jack Pub to preview his show!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
