And joining me today on the show is my special guest Brandon Duplinsky. How are you today Brandon? No bad, how are you doing? Hey, I'm doing pretty good and we're talking with you.
It all started with I found you on Facebook, a lethal affection ministry. Your wife Lindsay and you, something you were involved in based out of Wellesburg, correct? Weird. Okay, you're up in my neck of the woods.
Okay. No, I guess we're neighbors then. Explain to me a little bit about lethal affection ministry, what it is and how you got involved in it because quite a story here. Yeah, lethal affection ministry was birthed out of many trials, temptations, pressing times.
Through me struggling with drug addiction for approximately 16 years. In and out of jail, in and out of institutions, sober clean, back into it. I went to jail one day and I was staring out the window and I said, man, why do I keep doing this? What keeps happening?
Well, God met me where I was at. And as the journey ensued, this just came to me. You know, I'm like, how do I fit into this? What do I do?
And then lethal affection ministry is almost like a sign popped up in my head. And the premise behind it is deadly love, loving the things that kill you. You know, from the subtleties of just doing some of the wrong things daily to all the way down to drug addiction. And that's what it came birthed out of.
So now our premise is to not just only preach the gospel for wrong, true what it is, but then we help people on every level. No matter what they're struggling with, we have now designed services that will be able to cater to everyone's need. And Brandon, while I'm talking with you today on the show, let people know how they can find out more information about you. I know on social media, that's how I found you.
If there's a phone number or anything like that, you want to give out, feel free. And I know it's we're talking all the good things that you do in a community and things that are down the road. If people want to help out too, donation-wise, they can also help with that, right? Oh, yeah, absolutely.
Right now, we're actually building a website that's actually been in progress, what seems like forever. Okay. But find us on Facebook, lethal affection ministry. You can also get our personal ones, which is tied to that.
Brandon and Lindsey Dapunski, each one is individual one. Phone number is 304-919-3253, and Lindsey's phone number is 304-919-3220. And you mentioned a while ago, Brandon, people with various problems, whether it's drug addiction, abuse, you know, somebody just homeless people. We talk about that too before we went on the air.
And just anybody that's out there, because we all can find ourselves in times, I guess, less fortunate times if you will. We're only human. We go through ups and downs in our life. And I like that's what lethal affection ministry.
You guys are there to kind of help pick us up and take us by the hand, essentially, and give us another chance. Yeah, absolutely. You know, whether it's resources that someone needs because they might be a single struggling mom, we provide them with clothing, book bags, things for kids for school, we help her out with various needs. Lindsey helps them out with just being a shoulder lean on of nothing.
And then when it comes down to drug addiction, which we're heavily rooted in that, from someone needing detox, from thinking they might be thinking they're the worst one ever, we can handle any drug addiction. We can send them to various different locations, basically from East to West Coast, handle detox inpatient, and then our emphasis is the aftercare. What I feel is the most important part, which is where the resurrection house is coming into all this. That's right.
And talk to us about that. Some exciting things going on big announcements you guys have. I think it's okay. We can let the cat out of the bag, right?
Yeah, yeah. We made that clear this last weekend. The resurrection house is located in Youngstown on Crandall Avenue. It is a absolutely beautiful house.
I don't know if you saw pictures of it on there. I checked it out on social and Facebook. If anybody's listening, they want to check it out. Go on to your Facebook page.
Very nice place. There's 36 pictures, I think. The backdrop behind that's pretty amazing. I called, said, hey, I've been praying on what to do with this house.
I fixed it up. I just wanted to meet a specific need. We hear a lot of things in ministry. I was basically skeptical when someone calls out a balloon and says, here's a house for you.
He calls us and we go up and have some lunch with him. He says, let's go look at the house. I said, fine. We go look at the house.
We're just absolutely blown away. This thing was built in the old Victorian house. He kept everything original. We did it completely stocked it with some fantastic furniture.
I said, basically here, do you want this? This is only requirement. It has to be some sort of sober living facility. And lo and behold, we had Recovery Plan, a business plan, a year and a half, now waiting for God to open this door.
We're looking at buying the dollar houses from the city and fixing them. This one. Wow. And so it has to capacity to hold 25 guys.
Okay. And it's going to be a faith-based halfway house. It's going to require no insurance. It's going to require no money at all.
It's all going to be covered. We're going to try to provide a top notch, you know, living arrangement, where all your needs are going to be supplied from hygiene to food, to transportation, employment. We have all that stuff worked out for a person. So all you have to do is show up.
Perfect. And I know we talked a little bit about White Oak Run too before we went on here. You guys kind of, I guess, partnered with them. You work with them.
I explained a little bit about what that is and where they're located. White Oak Run is a brand new facility on 55 acres of land and just outside of Parkesburg, West Virginia. It's absolutely amazing. It used to be an old state park.
And we ended up getting that under the premise to maybe try to do something like that. And that's exactly what happened. So there's individual cabins. There's hiking.
There's canoeing. There's backpacking. There's ATVs. I mean, there's you name and it's there.
Top notch treatment. They have a HOPE program that weighs heavily on erasing the shame and really building your hope. But then we also have one in North Palm Beach called Reliance. This partnership came through.
We travel. Many people call us. Hey, come preach to my event or come preach to my church. And we went to an event and we met up with some people from there and they're like, wow, you know, this is awesome.
Why don't we see what we can do together? So it's time went on. They said, hey, we really want to bring you on board. So that's exactly what happened.
We came on board with them. They're an absolutely awesome facility. It is a private insurance facility. But the best part about this one that sets them apart is they'll take 12% of every person that comes to the door and put that 12% from their profit into a separate account so that we can scholarship people who have no money.
Wow. No insurance. Yeah. Last month, actually, the month of July, we'd scholarship 29 people.
That's phenomenal. Yeah. Wow. That's huge.
So these guys really care. They really want to help. And like I said, this facility is absolutely brand new. And only open a week ago.
And it's in a very serene setting. It's very private. It's very off the map. So you can really focus solely on getting back on track.
Brandon, I want to touch on something too. I mean, there's all kinds of things running through my mind. It's an honor to have you sitting across from me first off because I found you on Facebook. And if anybody, somebody that's down to earth, you're it.
I mean, you, I told you before we went on you, you know, there's no judging there. You're not preaching at people. But some of the topics and things that I found you talking about on Facebook, I was even re-examining areas in my life. I'm like, wait a minute.
I'm here to do things for the show research. And I'm sitting, I'm like in awe. And it's you have me thinking about, okay, maybe in my life, I'm not where I need to be here. Maybe it's because I need to shift.
And you know, shifting lanes and maybe I got out of lane a little bit or I'm not quite where I want to be. But something I want to touch on. If people were afraid, there's no judging with you. You're just, you're calming right down down the earth guy and family guy.
You got a beautiful family and your wife, Lindsay, as we said, she's involved. But I just want to bring that home to people. If they have any questions, they can call you. We hit bumps in a road in life.
Don't feel, I always afraid when people are ashamed of where they are in life because you know what? We're human. And I get those potholes in a road in life. And the best thing we can do is get back up and try to go on.
Sometimes it's okay to have help and assistance to go on. Well, yeah, asking for help is a strength. Absolutely. That's what a lot of people don't see.
The ones who want to strike away from that and act like they have it together. Those are usually ones that have the most softest shell, if you will. But asking for help is a strength. And we strive to be able to meet everyone's need and meet them right where they're at.
It's not come to our level and we'll help you. We'll come wherever you are. Spiritually, emotionally, financially. However that might be.
We try to provide a full service from weddings all the way up on that end of the day. I can do all those services. But primarily, yeah, our goal is to try to meet everybody where they're at. Okay.
And whether it's just counseling one-on-one, whether it's marriage counseling, whether you just maybe need someone to talk to you. You have a question about God. We handle all that. Another thing too.
What was it? We're asking for where we think we should be in life. That was one of the topics you had on because people can watch you on Facebook. They can obviously watch them after the fact that you do a lot of live sessions on Facebook and probably can even ask you questions too, right?
Yeah, I do. I used to do Q&As. I got away from that a little bit. I don't know why.
Probably just lack of time. But yeah, when I do live videos, I usually post ahead of time I'm going live here or there. And I read the comments a lot of times, you know, and I'll answer back and try to meet everyone where they're at on their questions as best I can. But yeah, I mean, we get an influx of messages.
I try to personally answer every single one of them. I always get back to them on that. And yeah, there's always something going on. Someone's going live, rung going live.
And also the best part is anybody who has an awesome story and they want to share it with the world and can help. They message us. We'll set them up with an event and then go live on our ministry page. And they tell their story on there.
Yeah. So they'll really get some great impact from that. We do that often. You talked touched on a little bit earlier, Brandon.
If there's churches organizations out there that would like for you to speak, how can they do that? What's the number they can get in touch with you? Get in touch with us either through Facebook message or 304913253 or my wife, 30493220 and our address is lethal affection ministry or Brandon and Lindsey of Punsky. And that would be PO Box 2054, we're in West Virginia 2662.
And Brandon, while I've got you here, if there's that message that you want people to take away from, because you give great messages on online and talking to you, give your message now. Take a couple minutes. If there's a message, something that's come to your mind that you want to share with the listening audience, because I want people to remember, this comes straight from the heart. You don't have nothing to script it.
That's what I was amazed by you, how well you put things. We definitely try to press heavy into people's purpose and their roles. There's four things in every human being, no matter what part of the planet you live on. Everybody wants security, acceptance, identity and purpose.
That's everyone's real main focus. And they get out of perspective at times. They get lopsided, if you will. And purpose is something I've reached about a lot, because I think a lot of people feel they're left out and they really don't know who they are and they're not secure with themselves.
A lot of that really comes down to the purpose. You know, you're intended to create a purpose, the reason of the existence of anything. A hard thing I think is when you get purpose, you have a passion behind whatever that is. A hard thing that I think people come in contact with is they get really excited because they might say, hey, this is really what I'm supposed to do.
And then they hit a roadblock. They hit their cross, if you will. And then what we tend to do is we take our expectations and we bring them all the way down to where limitations are and what we turn around and keep on smiling. But what you endure expresses how deeply you desire.
Again, this is what drew me to you. I can just listen to you all in. It's like you're inside my head. But that's what I mean.
You taught everybody. You don't talk that you're right with us. And just comment. I like what you said several times.
You meet us where we are. That's what I like. It doesn't matter how far up the road, how far back on the road somebody is. Maybe we need to straight off the path a little bit.
You meet us where we are. I tell people all the time, the preacher's not much different than a few. He may have more baggage than you ever thought. That's powerful.
I mean, that really is. And Brandon, again, your wife, Lindsay, and your children. I got to meet a couple of your children this morning. You got a beautiful family and a lot to be thankful for.
And I'm definitely glad that you're here to spread the word about lethal affection ministry you guys located in Muirton. I want you to be a regular guest on the show. So I don't want this to be. This is your first appearance, but let's not make this your last appearance.
Yes, it is. Yes, it is. I can't wait to see all the great things that continue to happen. I'm just trying to wrap my mind around everything.
I'm always kind of speechless, which is a first for me. Like I said, I appreciate you everything you do. Give that phone number again. If anybody would like to donate, if they would like to help out what you guys do and learn more about lethal affection ministry, how can they do that?
Facebook again, Lethal Affection Ministry. Phone numbers 304-913-3253. And actually, if you go on the ministry page, there's a click, call now button. So take it straight to our phone.
Our address, if you want to feel led to give any donation, is Lethal Affection Ministry. PO Box 2054, Weirton, West Virginia 26062. We take donations in really the form of anything. Sometimes we put on drives and we'll need clothing or book bags, things of that nature.
But most importantly, if you feel so led to help us to expand our reach, we help scholarship people, we help kids, time for school pictures, school lunches. Sometimes we help with that expense, apart from helping people with maybe their house utility bills and stuff, especially when our time's coming around. So we help people across the board and those resources really help us to help the community and really put it where they need to be. Absolutely branded, any final thoughts?
We covered a lot of ground here this morning. We did. I'm excited to wear God's leading us and I'm excited about taking us. If it's the one thing that anyone ever doubts is, if you have breath in your lungs, God still wants to use you.
If you look at my story and you look at my testimony that I posted on my page, the C Word God's elevated me today. I used to be a person who was addicted to drugs and no one wanted me around. When I came around, everyone made sure they're supposed to be. They didn't trust me.
Now, I'm pastor, I have successful ministry. I'm a shift forward on the coal mine. We're opening up the resurrection house, the aftercare housing. So God has really, you know, then I'm Eric Lindsey and I'm the lucky one.
That one, you know, how God bless her. And then we have beautiful family. Every God's really blessing what we're doing. So basically, you know, all you have to do is show up.
He's looking for some people to get into some stuff. Brandon, I can't wait to hear the good things continued with lethal affection ministry located in Weirton. We were looking forward to being back on the show. Thanks for bringing us in.
This brought me a shirt and some information. I got some bracelets here and happy to share those with people. If anybody's out there listening, wants to give me a call. But again, give that phone number one last time.
304-919-3253. And you can find us on Facebook at lethal affection ministry. Alright, Brandon, do Plinsky. I appreciate it so much for you taking time to be here.
And your wife, Lindsey, was in here a little bit earlier. She's taking care of the kids right now. And like I said, beautiful family. It was great to meet them, her.
And it was really great to meet you too. Yeah, awesome. It was a pleasure coming in. I'll list you guys all the time.
So this was absolutely an honor for me as well. Well, thanks Brandon. We'll be talking to you soon, buddy. Alright, thank you.
