Fresh off its World Premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, we debate whether the rom-com is more sweet or saccharine. The Wedding Banquet is set to be released in theaters on April 18th. PLOT: A pair of couples who are also best friends. After Chris refuses to get a green card marriage to Min, Min proposes to Angela in exchange for paying for her partner Lee’s IVF treatment.
