Let's Be Real - Mama Journeys - Episode 85 W/Lori Huertas

As a mama of one and a son who joined the military, that fear was encompassing because she had no idea how to handle that. When she was a new mom, she was on her own as a single mom. She had support from her parents when her son grew but lost both of her parents to cancer. She feels that she has grown closer to her mom since she passed because she learned about her moms past and her life trauma and how that made her who she was. Blessed with the most amazing son and having such amazing memories of his childhood made her tear up because she loved being his mama and could NOT be more proud of him. As the first Doctor in the family, he called and was worried about being the first to graduate (before her) and upsetting her.
