Let's Be Real - Mama Journeys - Episode 86 W/Lainne Love

from Let's Be Real: Mama Journeys · host Nikki Brooker

Lainne had a natural home birth with her son at the age of 36. She has had a lot of chaos in her mama journey and didn't know the father well and she does not have a relationship with him so being a single mom was quite the challenge. She was shocked at her numbness during pregnancy and because of her traumatic childhood, she was not as prepared to be a mom as she wishes she would be. She didn't recognize herself when she became a mom and realized her ancestral karma was holding her back. Epigenetics is the study of which genes are expressed and when and why. In our DNA there are traits that are passed down and we don't always have control of those things and how we react to them. With a waterfall of challenges when she had her son, the biggest was battling with the father, her son was an American and she wasn't (she's from Canada) and was in fear of losing her child, along with being a single parent. Lainne has a wealth of knowledge about being a mom of a neurodivergent child and you can find her at her website at lainne.com.  Lainne Love on social media too!
