Let's Be Real - Mama Journeys - Episode 96 W/Kelly Fox

Kelly has lived in Colorado since she was 8 and lives in Centennial. She works for a payroll company called PNIHCM and is passionate about her community. The job of being a mama and wife is a 24/7 job. She met her husband way back when she was 19 and got lots of stuff "out of the way" before she had her son. She had her son at the age of 35 and what an adjustment it was! Her pregnancy was a complete surprise because she was on birth control and didn't expect to get pregnant! At 16 weeks pregnant she had a grapefruit sized cyst removed, which was very stressful and then 5 weeks later she had another cyst appear. Her pregnancy was not what she had in mind but it resulted in a healthy, happy baby boy. With her situation and experience, her body decided that they were one and done. She wishes she could go back in time and tell her younger self that she needs to be kinder to herself and stop looking at the "imperfections."  One of the biggest challenges she had was wanting her body back. She was "touched out!"  Can you relate?  Her one is done is the light of her life and her need to be herself and understand that it's OK to not be or do all the things everyone else THINKS you should!  She's an amazing mama and friend!
