Let's Chat Mental Health: Embracing Our Flaws | Learning from our Shortfalls & Being More Human

from Support, Protect, Empower - The Project Purpose Podcast · host Rachelle Innocent

#MentalHealth #SelfDiscovery #BeMoreHuman  Hi Everyone!   Welcome to our second segment on Mental Health, this week 😊   Today's discussion is focused on reasons to shed the perfectionistic model we've been conditioned to embrace.   In truth, to err is human - humanity is a quality we all share.  Anyone who expects us to be perfect is setting themselves up for disappointment, because perfection is unattainable and unrealistic.  It also takes away from the truly human experience of self-discovery. We learn the most through our mistakes, especially when we give ourselves permission to make them - without punishing our criticizing ourselves for the works in progress we all are.   So this year, embrace being more human and brush off the need to present a "picture" perfect ideal. Who you are as you are is enough for those who belong in your corner.   #MentalHealth #BeMoreHuman #SelfDiscovery #ToErrIsHuman #ImperfectlyPerfect #WorksInProgress #EmbraceShortfalls  Do you have any questions?
