This week will be a team-teaching approach! How we approach scripture gives us different results. Some use it like an instruction manual, some like a proof-text for whatever they want it to say, and some only pick the parts they like or agree with. Scripture has, historically, been read, heard, prayed, sung, memorized, meditated on, studied, discussed, and practiced in community — sometimes we have to expand our imagination for what spending time in Scripture can look like. Scripture guides and changes us, often just not in the way we think it will.
