Let's get vulnerable

from Blue Abroad Hosted by Terry Dehghani

Last week we heard Wayne Schwass talked about how manning up now means to put your hand up. The narrative has changed. We have a bigger platform to distribute our thoughts and feelings towards one another. In the context of footy, we all analyse and project our views about players, administrators and other fans. We're in the early phases of understanding how much impact we actually have with these words. With a big enough sample size we now understand how much words can affect varying individuals. At some point we are going to need to stop blaming others and start taking accountability for ourselves. The message from this is one that will hopefully allow you to feel comfort in reaching out to do the following: - Take a moment to audit how you feel about yourself - Reach out to your inner circle and allow yourself to be vulnerable - Evolve to be the next best version of yourself Don't wait until #WorldMentalHealthDay - let's talk today 💙
