LET'S GO TO ZOZO! | Oct. 18

from Golf Today · host Golf Channel

The FedExCup Fall continues in Japan at the ZOZO Championship! Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, and Rickie Fowler spoke to the media and are teeing it up for the first time since they played for the U.S. Ryder Cup team, losing 16.5 to 11.5 to Team Europe. Kira K. Dixon and Eamon Lynch react to what the Ryder Cuppers had to say about the controversial weekend of golf in Italy, and what they need to do at the ZOZO to help put it behind them. Staying overseas, BBC Golf Correspondent Iain Carter joins the program to discuss uncertainty around how the 'framework agreement' that the PGA TOUR is working on with LIV Golf might impact which golfers can play in which tournaments. Later on, Johnnie Cole-Hamilton from the Royal & Ancient Golf Association stops by to help remember the life of Ivor Robson, the longtime starter of the Open Championship who passed away over the weekend. Back stateside, Kira and Eamon react to the field list released recently by Tiger Woods' and Rory McIlroy's joint venture "The Golf League." Amateur golfers Bo Jin from Oklahoma State and Cole Anderson of Florida State also stop by as Jin prepares to compete in the Asia-Pacific Amateur and Anderson continues fighting for a PGA TOUR Card via the PGA TOUR University pipeline. Jenny Coleman has already earned her LPGA Tour Card via the Epson Tour! The soon-to-be rookie joins the show to discuss what her goals are for the upcoming season, and how her time on the Epson Tour has prepared her to make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead. Lastly it's another installment of the Golf Today Roundtable! Ryan Lavner and Rex Hoggard chime in to discuss some of the game's hottest topics with Eamon and Kira. Hear what they had to say about LIV Golf, TGL, and more! Johnnie Cole-Hamilton (24:36) Bo Jin (38:31) Cole Anderson (45:03) Jenny Coleman (51:09) Golf Today Roundtable (55:05) Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
