"Let's retire the risk management profession" with Stefan Gershater

Stefan Gershater, Global Director of Risk for Burberry, joins Christian Harris on this week's Safety And Risk Success Podcast to encourage discussion around the definition of risk management. From OODA Loops to "stop defining risk as a list of 50 bad things that might happen", this is a fascinating conversation, which we are sure will promote some debate. Stefan talks us through his background and the learnings along the way, from starting as a biochemist, to working in the military, to running a start-up and latterly heading up risk for various organisations. There are some key pillars which he believes should form the foundation of the maxim that "risk is something you need to be good at to drive better decision making".
