Let’s Scare Jessica To Death (1971) with Jamie Alvey
We are sticking around in the 1970s for a second week in a row here on the show. We are talking about an underseen cult classic horror film, Let’s Scare Jessica To Death. A very stealth vampire film, this one is super moody and a complete feel through its ambiguous narrative. Regular guest Jamie Alvey has brought the film to the table. We get into a fantastic discussion about a great many aspects of the film, from Carmilla adaptations, to mental health, technical achievements and much more. This might mark our best conversation to date. There’s some wandering off topic, but it’s actually stemming and returning to topic quite well so I left a lot of it in. There are some extra bits that are in the YouTube version if you really gotta see EVERYTHING. 00:04:20 Assault on Precinct 13 discussion01:07:06 What Else? -Brandon The Brandon Peters Show will return Wednesday (2/2) with Old Space Show.
