Let’s Settle the Debate…

from Dungeons & Disciples · host Josh Shaw, Tony Benda

One of D&D’s most popular debates: who is better, Wizards or Sorcerers? In this episode, Tony and Josh go through not just one but BOTH of these classes, reviewing the pros and cons of each. Could the boys, once and for all, settle the debate about who is better? While these debates continue in the D&D community, we often see much debate in the body of Christ. Thanks to Social Media, these debates are all over. While there are videos of Christians arguing against those who don’t follow Jesus, we also see Christians fighting against each other. While Wizards and Sorcerers are a source of debate, we can’t ignore their own vital roles within an adventuring party. Knowing this, Tony and Josh have a simple mission with this episode: settling the debates we hear. The boys come together to talk about their own personal walks and some of the debates that they have heard. They both have a very open and vulnerable conversation that attempts to settle the debate for those who don’t know Jesus, and those who know Jesus but are struggling with their walk because of the amount of information. Tony and Josh deeply desire Kingdom mindset, looking to push the debates and fleshly semantics aside, gleaning from this passage:“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)--------------------Dungeons & Disciples (Main Theme) composed by Tony Benda (used, of course, with permission).Join us on Discord!Instagram:@dungeonsanddisciplesFacebook@DungeonsAndDisciplesEmail us at:[email protected]

The Ten Commandments Chad Boersema Many focus on MAKING disciples, we hope to help in the process of BEING a disciple of Jesus. Understanding the ten commandments can be a good place to reflect on, as they were one of Israel's first introductions to learning how to relate to God and live in His way. Jesus also references the commandments in his sermon on the mount saying, “...whoever does them [the commandments] will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:19) Looking forward to exploring these with you!
