If I gave you ten dollars today, would you be grateful? I think you would. What about a thousand? How would you react? Shock, then smiles I expect. What if handed you a million dollars in cash money today? What would your response be? Would it be different than that of the ten dollar response? I can almost guarantee it. Why? Well, in life, gratitude is always a reflection of our perceived value of a gift. Our heart's true response to a gift is indicated in our natural (uninvited), expressed gratitude..... and this expressed gratitude is correlated to our perceived value of the gift. If we treasure a gift, we will be thankful for it. If we treasure it a lot, we will show a lot of gratitude. What if one's whole life was owing to one Treasure Gift? Wouldn't you expect that life to become a living symphony of gratitude for it? Today we are concluding our study of Luke 17 and our series "Let's Talk About Life." Jesus teaches us what it means to live in gratitude. Jesus gives good gifts to those who will receive and believe. Not all truly recognize & respond to His offer of grace. How can you tell who has and who hasn't? Does your heart treasure the good gifts of God through Jesus? Is this indicated through overflowing, expressed gratitude in your life?
