Let's Talk About Issues Important to Women and Families - Women's Legislative Briefing (S.3, Ep. 1)

We are welcoming Season 3 by coming to you!  We went to the annual Women's Legislative Briefing, put on by the Montgomery County (MD) Commission for Women, to talk to women about issues most important them.  Issues important to them are  certainly important to us!  We were reminded of a lot!  Women want to advance legislation for the betterment of women and families, especially those most in need.  We want to protect young people from homelessness.  We want to end food insecurity, improve housing affordability, ensure equity in healthcare, have a living wage, and we want gun control.  We want to protect and ensure our democracy.  We want responsible political representatives who will keep the focus on the public good.  We know that what is good for families is good for the country.  We thank the Commission for Women for a great annual event!Check us out at www.2blackmomsandamic.com. You can also hear us on Spotify, Amazon Audible, I Heart Radio and Podchaser.  If you like what you hear, we hope that you will give us a great review!
