Let's Talk About It (Pt. 1) - Experience It

Jesus gave us a very important command… That we are called to share the message of the cross with the world. In Matthew 28 and Acts 1, Jesus tells his followers to go and be witnesses of what He did for the world. This is a command for every follower of Jesus. However, we rarely see people actually go and share their faith. In our series, Let’s Talk About It, we will be looking at how we can share our faith every day to everyone everywhere we go!   Tonight we are talking about how we must experience God’s love before we go and share God’s love for the world. As we spend a lot of time in worship, we’ll see how God’s love should motivate us to go. We’re going to look at the story of Philip and Nathaniel in John 1 and see what Philip did as our guide. He simply saw who Jesus was, responded to Jesus’ calling and then went and told Nathaniel. It was a simple invitation that came from Philip’s own, genuine experience! We can’t share what we haven’t experienced!
