Let's Talk About Race Sam Simpson

from Lets Talk About Race Hosted by Diane Wong

Let's Talk About Race: Sam Simpson on the idea that God as we have known him is wrong We are working on understanding race in the big picture. I'm talking with guests, some of whom have ideas about how we must develop in order to finally put conflict involving race behind us. There are many questions to answer. Or at least ideas and questions to look at. Is it time for us to put the notion of God as an entity separate from ourselves away? Is that notion, just as the notion of race, merely a social construct, developed in some far off time to serve some purpose that is now complete? It is clear that new ideas, new ways must emerge to move us beyond violence, distrust and hate. But what are those ways and who must develop them? Engage with this discussion and see if any insight can be gleaned to help us on our way. Keep listening Thursday nights 7-8 PM Eastern time on Bostonfreeradio.com.
