Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) asked  “Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’?” as she questioned Jackson about a transgender athlete. Depending on where you sit politically will likely determine your level of response to her answer, “Can I provide a definition? No. I can’t,” responded Jackson.In this episode, we discuss several issues regarding gender that have made their way into mainstream media. To start us off Dr. Pham discusses the important role of providing gender affirming care to children, and dispels some often cited myths about what that care actually includes. We then have a much broader conversation about gender, and how we should view it.
