Let's Talk About the Jade Egg!

from The Vital Goddess · host Dianne Shepherd

The Jade Egg or Yoni Egg practice is one of the most curative and empowering practices on the planet for the female pelvis. It's a mind, body, spirit practice that completely changed my life when I found it in my early 40s. Dialing it back to that time I was having a lot of issues with my pelvis. After 3 big babies within 5 years I had some physical problems that I'd never addressed. And when menopause hit at age 40 things escalated fast. I was experiencing chronic pelvic pain, dryness, incontinence, a low level of pelvic organ prolapse and sciatica.Kegels weren't working for me nor was Pilates or Yoga.  In retrospect what I really needed was a holistic approach that embraced emotional integration and sensuality.Luckily I found the Jade Egg practice and some incredible teachers who were emphasizing working with emotions in a powerful way and incorporating pleasure as part of the healing process.   It changed everything. Here I riff on:My menopause meltdown at age 40Why I needed a holistic approachA short history of the Jade Egg practiceChinese medicine and sexual healthCultivating sexual energy for overall health, vitality and spiritual growthWhat exactly is the Jade Egg practice?Jade and other gemstonesThe best beginner eggAn alternative to using gemstones; the new glass egg!How the Jade Egg helps us get precision toning in the pelvic floorWhy you don't want a tight vaginaPlease don't "kegel" your eggWhy a trauma-informed practice mattersWhy mindset work mattersWhy working with emotions is so keyThe way we practice mattersPleasure, flow, nervous system care and emotional processingMy movement-centric approach to the Jade Egg as a former Pilates teacherWhy movement heals Allowing the body to reclaim natural movementWhy your Yoni needs to moveThe 5 Key Moves of Yoni MasteryHow movement is one the most powerful ways to heal traumaHow I apply that principle to my unique system of teaching the Jade EggHow movement heals vaginal drynessYoni dexterity; why it mattersHow the Yoni is the core of the femme coreMartha Graham and "Move from your vagina"!What most people don't know about the KegelHow the Jade Egg practice can help prevent and support pelvic organ prolapseYoni Reflexology and how working internally with an egg supports overall health, emotional wellbeing and vitalityThe Taoist Healing SoundsEmbodiment and full body orgasmHow the Jade Egg connects us to spiritWant to dive deeper?Check out my self study Jade Egg mastery course; Jade Rebirth;  a movement-centric approach to Yoni and Multi-Orgasmic masteryFor a gemstone alternative check out the Borosilicate Glass Yoni EggJoin my free Shakti Core®Breathwork Journeys membership
