Let's talk gastric sleeves

It's in the news today and it's been on my Facebook feed this week. People are going to Turkey for gastric sleeves, and some of these procedures are going better than others!But why are they going abroad for gastric surgery? Why not stay home and have it on the NHS if they're going to have it? What even is the problem with gastric surgery anyway? Why is it so bad?I'm going to talk about the realities of having this major surgery.
