Let's Talk: GMG Remembering O'Landa Draper & The Associates

•Honoring the memory of O’Landa Draper, who was known for his directing style. He founded the choir known as “The Associates”. He and his choir were considered one of the top gospel artists in the 1990’s. He succumbed to a sudden illness and passed at the age of 34 in 1998. •O’Landa received many awards through-out his life which includes Grammy Awards, Stellar Awards and Dove Awards. He was posthumously honored with the Rev. James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award by the Stellar Awards. O’Landa Draper was only approaching his peak as a gospel choir leader when he experienced kidney failure.
