Life roles are set of responsibilities every individual is perceived to posses, exhibit and act from the day of birth till death. People play different life roles; the responsibilities and duties may change according to age, gender, location and ones' own attitude. It is your life skill, both intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence, to be aware of your own roles so that you can either change it by initiating personal change, manage it or cherish various roles of your life. Once you know different roles in everyday life, you will be able to understand your needs and the needs demanded by the societ. As life goes on, we may sometimes find ourselves slowly becoming what others may perceive us to be. To accept these perceptions, viewpoints, or 'roles' that others place on us based on our character development can seem necessary. However, we may find ourselves converting to these characteristics simply to please others. For those placing the spoken perceptions onto others, you may be doing so for your understanding of how they may see the world and trying to make them aware of how the world may see them. Question is, are you and/or the world right? Maybe there's an entirely different way of looking at things. These roles that I speak of, are not considered completely false; but nowadays they are given too much power which can have its effects on one's mental health followed by self-esteem. This can also be considered a learned behavior of human nature.
