His career spans publichealth, case management, HIV prevention, and community engagement, includingleadership roles with Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department and Pierce County HumanServices. He has been recognized for his commitment to service, including receiving theDiamond Hall of Fame Award from Tacoma Pride in 2021.As a gay Khmer man navigating intersectional identities, Chace brings an honest andthoughtful perspective on topics often considered taboo in Khmer culture—such assexuality, identity, and health.
