Lets Try This Again: ODO 146

from Odd Dad Out

It's funny how, on a week where all of my topics are revisiting things I've talked about in the past, I would also end up re-recording the episode. I get in to going to Foodstock again last weekend and how that all went down. And, in Recommended Listening I pull out a "in case you missed it" for my recent appearance on a previously featured show, "Millennial Pagan Podcast."-Recommended Listening-Millennial Pagan Podcasthttps://paganpod.podbean.com/Ep. 24 Gatekeeping and Inclusionhttps://paganpod.podbean.com/e/ep-24-gatekeeping-and-inclusion/Millennial Pagan Podcast is a voice to the growing number of Pagan Millennials and our brand of Witchcraft, Magic, Practice, and Worship. Our goal is to explore the future of Paganism through the tough and controversial topics that effect Pagans, Witches, Polytheists, and Occultists in our ever-changing world. Promoting a peaceful understanding of Paganism in media.I recently appeared on episode 24 of the Millennial Pagan Podcast to talk about the issue of gatekeeping and inclusion in the pagan community. Incidentally, this episode actually turned out to be the 1 year anniversary of the show. I had a great time getting to hang out with them and getting to speak more publicly about my personal beliefs.Typically, the hosts, Autumn Wolf and Jera Stone will invite various experts in different sections of the pagan community to share in their knowledge. In this case, they invited me, (because I shared a meme, I shit you not) to share my opinions on the issue of some people trying to control the space and dictate who and what “qualifies” as pagan. Cliff’s notes version: “Don’t tell me how to witch.” Long version, people need to stop telling others that they are or are not a pagan or witch just because they do or do not do any particular thing. It’s ok for “Stacey” to buy her sage at Whole Foods. It’s ok to worship how you want. “You do you Boo.”-Promos and Shoutouts-Livestream For The Curehttp://livestreamforthecure.com/Two Peas On A Podcasthttp://www.blazingcariboustudios.com/shows/two-peas-on-a-podcast/Radio Mole Holehttp://moleholebroadcast.com/-Promos and Shoutouts-Livestream For The CureTwo Peas On A PodcastRadio Mole HoleJoin the Facebook Group Oddballs: Friends of The Odd Dad Outhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/odddadoutDonate on Patreonhttp://patreon.com/join/odddadoutFollow Along on Social athttps://www.twitter.com/odddadout/https://www.facebook.com/odddadout/https://www.instagram.com/odddadout/ Hosted on Acast.
