2023: Played in all nine games, starting at Baylor and vs. No. 8 Oregon. Credited with a team-leading 48 tackles (1.0 TFL). Season-best 11 takedowns came in the game vs. No. 8 Oregon. Followed that up with a 10-tackle effort against ASU. Has four games with six or more stops, which also includes his nine in the win at Baylor. Ranks second on the team with 6.0 third-down stops. Prior to Utah: Played in 31 games with 15 starts at Stanford from 2019-22, racking up 207 tackles (9.0 TFL, 3.0 sacks), two interceptions, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup. Served as team captain in his final season. Watch List honors in 2022 included the Butkus Award, Lott IMPACT Trophy, Polynesian College Football Player of the Year and the East-West Shrine Bowl. Presented the 2019 Greg Piers Award, given to the most outstanding special teams scout team player. Had a team-leading 76 tackles (3.5 TFL, 1.0 Sack) in 2022. Two games during 2022 with 10-plus tackles, matching his career-high with 12 stops at Utah. Second career interception came in 2022 in the win over Arizona State. High School: Two-time All-State and All-Region honoree as a two-way player out of Ridgeline HS. Four-star recruit by Rivals. No. 18 inside linebacker in the nation on PrepStar. No. 5 recruit in the state of Utah on Rivals. Invited to the 2017 Polynesian Bowl. Named Logan Herald All-Valley Defensive Player of the Year (2015) and All-Valley Player of the Year (2016). Had 63 tackles (11 sacks) as a senior, along with 732 rushing yards (12 TD) and 342 receiving yards (2 TD). Contributed 87 tackles (6 sacks), an interception and a blocked punt return TD during his junior campaign.
