Why Motherhood Feels So Different for Every Woman (Human Design Explained) | Chantel Porter

from Speak, Mother | Motherhood Burnout Recovery & Identity Reclamation · host Shannon Warner

Send Shannon A NoteThis week, I'm so excited for our guest, Chantel Porter, to share her wisdom on Human Design. She gives us the origin of Human Design, what it's all about, and how to leverage it in your own lives, especially as a mother. If Human Design is completely new to you, you may want to download your own chart before listening to this episode. Chantel recommends doing so at jovianarchive.com. Here are the key takeaways:1. Human design can help you come home to yourself. It is your true permission slip to follow your own authority. 2. Human design is your energetic blueprint. Who you are, your gifts, what you came here to do, and how you're meant to operate. It also shows how your intuition communicates with you, and where you are most susceptible to being conditioned. It shows us all how individually unique we are. 3. When looking at your chart, start with your authority and your strategy. Your authority is your intuition, strategy is how you make it happen. Trust the inner wisdom within you and following it in the small details. 4. When studying your chart, pay attention to the colored and uncolored areas. Defined centers (colored areas) show the energy you pump out into the world. Open centers are where you take in energy of others and amplify it. These are the spaces you can feel uncomfortable and areas in which we can feel like we're not good enough. 5. We're conditioned to think we want things that we may not actually want. You may need far less than what you truly think to feel happy, successful, peaceful. Human design can help you determine what really feels so good based on your design type. 6. We can unlearn conditioning that does not serve us through learning and understanding our own human design. 7. Knowing your children's energy types can help you better parent your children and you can help them step into their own power and advocate for their own needs. 8. Human design is for the children. We have to decondition ourselves so we can raise our children as themselves. We can change the world through our children by allowing them to be who they really are. But first, we have to do it for ourselves. 9. Motherhood is not the job. Caregiving is the job. Motherhood is the relationship you form with you children, not the duties you do on an individual relationship. We are not just mothers. 10. We come into this life with exactly what we need to fulfill our purpose.Want to know more about Human Design or Chantel? Follow her on IG @chantel.mariewildFollow her on FacebookSpeak, Mother is hosted by Shannon Warner, founder of Resonant Collective offering podcast launch, maintenance, and strategy services for truth-telling women.Follow @ResonantCollective on IG: https://www.instagram.com/resonantcollective/Connect with Shannon on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/podcastwithshannon/
