Levitical Priesthood Pt 5 ~ Levitical Priests in the Messianic Era

The new covenant takes away the stony heart and replaces it with a heart of flesh. The stony heart is disobedient and does not follow the Torah. In the new covenant, the Torah is written upon a heart of flesh: A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. Ezekiel 36:26-27 Yeshua is our High Priest after the order of Melchizedek Priest. It is this Priesthood that administers the renewed covenant, that gives us a new heart and writes the Torah upon a heart of flesh. Yeshua’s Melchizedek Priesthood governs a better covenant with better promises. Yeshua’s Melchizedek Priesthood brings salvation. Yeshua’s Melchizedek Priesthood can bring the believer of Yeshua as Messiah into spiritual maturity. The Levitical Priesthood could not bring a person to spiritual maturity. Levites will be taken from the nations to serve YHVH during the Messianic era. These Levites will perform priestly duties in the restored Tabernacle during the Messianic era. They will teach the Torah and they will judge according to the Torah during the Messianic era.
