Leviticus 1: Putting It All On The Altar

Leviticus is the manual of worship for all believers in Christ, where God delineates how He expects us to worship Him. Leviticus 1 describes the Burnt Offering, which symbolizes total surrender and complete devotion to God in all aspects of our lives. We are to offer ourselves willingly as a living sacrifice, leaving nothing behind. Jesus sacrificed Himself completely for us, and the proper response from every Christian is to give himself to Christ with no reservations, as we allow His fire to consume every impurity and compromise in our lives.
