Leviticus 10-12

Leviticus chapters 10 through 12 delve into the priesthood's solemn duties and consequences, contrasting divine judgment with grace. Chapter 10 recounts the tragic death of Aaron's sons, Nadab and Abihu, for offering unauthorized fire before the Lord, underlining the sanctity of God's commands. This is followed by dietary laws in chapter 11, emphasizing holiness and purity, and laws about childbirth and purification in chapter 12, highlighting the need to restore community and God. These chapters collectively teach about reverence, obedience, and the sacredness of God's laws.
