Leviticus 11: God's Spiritual Menu Is More Important

Leviticus 11 discusses dietary boundaries for the God's people, showing us that true holiness isn't just reserved for the temple but includes the dinner table. God cares about out health, our hygiene, our identity, our discipline and holiness, and being mindful of what we eat will promote Godliness in all these areas, setting us apart as people who are distinct from the world and a powerful testimony to it. Yet be mindful of the words of Christ that say that what truly defiles us is not about what comes in through our mouths but what comes out of our hearts.
