Anything he touched—his bed, seat, clothing, or objects—became unclean, and anyone who came into contact with these items had to wash their clothes, bathe, and remain unclean until evening. •Seminal Emission (vv. 16-18): A man who experienced a normal seminal emission was also temporarily unclean. He had to wash himself and his clothing, and he remained unclean until evening. If the emission occurred during sexual relations, both the man and woman were unclean until evening. 2. Discharges in Women (Leviticus 15:19-30) •Menstrual Flow (vv. 19-24): A woman on her menstrual period was unclean for seven days. Anyone or anything she touched (bed, chair, etc.) became unclean, requiring purification. If a man had sexual relations with her during this time, he would be unclean for seven days as well. •Prolonged or Irregular Discharge (vv. 25-30): If a woman had an abnormal discharge of blood outside her menstrual cycle (possibly due to illness), she was considered unclean as long as the discharge lasted. On the eighth day, they were to bring two birds—one for a sin offering and one for a burnt offering—to the priest to make atonement. 4.
