Leviticus: God in Search of Us

In the Old Testament, priests had to offer animal sacrifices for the people to erase their sins. There were very specific steps and regulations for how and when the priests would do this. In this we see that there has to be a death in order for sins to be erased, something has to die. But when Jesus came to earth, the sacrifice of animals as the payment was replaced by Jesus' death, once for all.
