Lewis Buxton - pro footballer to management consultant

It was nice catching up with my old teammate Lewis Buxton. Lewis previously played professional football for Portsmouth, Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke City. In this podcast we speak about how he navigated transitioning away from playing football by deciding to get involved in psychology whilst still playing. We also touched on the highs and lows of his career, and he shared his thoughts on the retirement process for athletes. Lewis is now the Co-Founder of a management consultancy firm called Lit Within, where him and his team help companies enhance their staff performance by adjusting their outlook, structure and mentality.
