Lexidor Faces Gun Charges After Officer Encounter
from Bahamas News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Brother Kesnor Lexidor, 37, faces serious charges after allegedly threatening an officer with a loaded, unlicensed gun during a high-speed chase near a numbers house on Prince Charles Drive. The confrontation erupted early Saturday morning when Lexidor, reportedly trying to flee, pulled out a silver Amadeo .38 pistol and pointed it at the officer — who then drew his weapon and ordered him to drop it. Lexidor allegedly tossed the gun behind a car before fleeing. He pleaded not guilty to all charges, including threats and unlawful firearm possession. Despite a prior firearm conviction, the judge granted him $10,000 bail with strict conditions: weekly police check-ins and a monitoring device. He’s also been warned not to contact witnesses — or risk losing bail. His trial is scheduled for October 19. This isn’t his first brush with the law — he was convicted of manslaughter in 2016 for a 2009 shooting, but that conviction was overturned by the Court of Appeal in 2019.
