En la Cámara Alta se reportan avances positivos en lo que respecta a la Ley General de Pesca y Acuacultura Sustentables. Por unanimidad la comisión encargada de este trema avaló agregar a dicho ordenamiento los conceptos de acuacultura, aprovechamiento y pesca sustentables con el objeto de ordenar, conservar, proteger y repoblar los ecosistemas en los que se encuentran los recursos pesqueros y acuícolas.
