Ley Lines and Song Lines

Send us Fan MailLey lines: are they ancient trade routes, channels of Earth’s subtle energy, or just a coincidence of dots and lines on a map? Today, we dive deep into one of the most compelling—and controversial—concepts in landscape lore. From Alfred Watkins’ early 20th-century theory of “old straight tracks” to New Age beliefs about planetary chakras, energy vortexes, and even extraterrestrial GPS systems, ley lines have sparked fascination, debate, and a whole lot of line-drawing.We’ll trace famous alignments like St. Michael’s Line in England and the Apollo–St. Michael Axis across Europe, explore sacred sites from Peru to the American Southwest, and examine how modern technology has reignited the hunt for global grids of mystery. Along the way, we’ll visit Aboriginal Songlines, revealing a powerful and deeply spiritual form of landscape navigation rooted in creation stories and oral tradition.Whether you see ley lines as remnants of forgotten science, spiritual highways, or just the result of human pattern-seeking, one thing’s for sure—they connect more than places. They link us to questions about history, belief, and our eternal search for meaning in the land beneath our feet.Thank You for listening and Stay curious,Kat & WilliamEmail  [email protected] you would like to support Info On The Go click the link belowhttps://www.buzzsprout.com/2434258/support Or for Patreonhttps://patreon.com/InfoOnTheGo?utm_medium=unknown&utm_source=join_link&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=copyLinkFollow us wherever you listen to podcasts and leave us a review.Follow us on Facebook at Info on the Go!https://www.facebook.com/share/g/159DdiptQh/?mibextid=wwXIfrhttps://infoonthego.buzzsprout.com Being Me Is the Best Thing to Be by Judy Erb tells the story of Honey, a curious little turtle who learns that being herself is the very best thing to be.
