LFH Throwboack: Celeste Liversidge

from LIBERTY ROAD with Nada Jones · host LIBERTY ROAD

We’ve got lots of new things coming for 2022, but before we get into that I wanted to take a look back at our early episodes and rerelease my top 10  picks for the month of December.  To be clear, picking my favorite episodes is like picking my favorite child—it’s impossible--so I based my decision on 3 criteria, 1) interviews of women who overcame something outside of the regular struggle of running a business,  2) a unique industry the guest disrupted and 3) guests that were just as much as teachers as storytellers.  I hope you enjoy these episodes and please be sure to follow us on Instagram where we will be rolling out our big news throughout December. I want to keep you, our podcast family, in the loop.  I had to include my conversation with adoption attorney Celeste Liversidge in our top 10 throwback episodes for no other reason than she was juggling four platforms that were each disrupting the adoption industry in some way. Now before you skip this one, because you're not an attorney, and you don't think the adoption industry can teach you anything, think again. Celeste's charge all entrepreneurs to be compassionate about their customer's needs is for everyone to hear, regardless of industry. I also loved her careful examination of the status quo, and her ability to shine a critical light on her industry to see how she could better serve everyone involved in the adoption process. There is something for all of us to learn in this conversation. Her story will encourage you to think about what gaps you see in your respective industry and what you can do to create meaningful change. Please follow us at @libertyforher on Instagram--that's where we hang out the most. And please rate and review us—it helps to know if this podcast is inspiring and equipping you to launch and grow your ventures. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
