LGBTQ+ Gaming OUT LOUD with Federico Laboureau

from Latinos Out Loud · host Rachel La Loca/Latinos Out Loud

On this episode of #LatinosOutLoud Rachel chats with Federico Laboureau, the co-owner of the creative agency Fuegos LA, who served as the lead production designer for Bad Bunny's epic halftime show. Federico tells us all about Merge Cruise, the first casual mobile game with LGBTQ+ characters at the center of the cast and the story. Created by PeerPlay Games, a LGBTQ+-led game studio focused on entertainment-driven casual mobile games. Founded by a team of gaming and entertainment professionals, PeerPlay builds games that bring the energy, humor, and storytelling of pop culture into the casual mobile category. Merge Cruise, the studio’s flagship title, is a cozy murder mystery set aboard a 2000s cruise ship, featuring an original cast of queer characters and a camp-inspired narrative. The studio’s creative philosophy is simple: if the team is having fun making it, the players will have fun playing it. The casual mobile category has never produced a flagship queer title. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
