حوار، امرأة ترانسية من العراق، التي شعرت منذ صغرها أنها فتاة في عالم لا يرحم. منذ طفولتها، كانت تشعر بأن جسدها لا يعكس هويتها الحقيقية. تعرضت لحقد شديد من عائلتها، خاصة من إخوتها الذين اعتدوا عليها جسديًا و معنويًا، مما جعلها تشعر بأنها دخيلة في منزلها. رغم كل المعاناة والألم، لم بدأت رحلتها لتجد هويتها الحقيقية. مرت بالكثير من الضغوطات خاصة انها من مجتمع عربي، ولكنها في النهاية تمكنت من إيجاد عائلتها المختارة، تلك التي تقبلها كما هي وتمنحها الدعم والحب الذي كانت تفتقده. بل ووجدت في نفسها القوة لتصبح أمًا و مناضلة من أجل الحريات. حوار تتحدث عن كيف أن القانون العراقي صارم جدًا ضد مجتمع الميم، وكيف أن العيش كترانس في العراق ليس واردًا . ومع ذلك، نضال حوار لا ينتهي من اجل حقوق و حرية المثليين.Hawar, a trans woman from Iraq, has felt since her childhood that she was a girl in a world that shows no mercy. Since she was young, she always felt that her body did not reflect her true identity. She faced intense hatred from her family, especially from her brothers who physically and emotionally abused her, making her feel like an outsider in her own home. Despite all the suffering and pain, she began her journey to find her true identity.She went through many pressures, especially being from an Arab society, but eventually, she was able to find her chosen family, the one that accepted her for who she was and gave her the love and support she had always lacked. She even found the strength within herself to become a mother and a fighter for freedom. Hawar talks about how the Iraqi law is very strict against the LGBTQ+ community and how living as a trans person in Iraq is almost impossible. However, Hawar's struggle continues for the rights and freedom of the LGBTQ+ community.
