Li-Polymer - Broken Machine (Marten Sundberg Remix) - AR132

from Asymmetric Recordings · host Asymmetric Recordings

Li-Polymer makes his Asymmetric debut, after a roll of successful releases on Sudbeat, Movement, Juicebox and ICONYC to name just a few. The Portuguese DJ and producer has been gaining Global recognition and her delivers the rather tasty 'Broken Machine'. The original is a deep and hypnotic workout, with a deliciously cool arp like pattern that gets inside your mind, whilst the bass subtly moves and the pads glide in adding depth and warmth, surround by cool percussion. Very cool indeed, Marten Sundberg steps up first on remix duties, and and delivers a wonderful warm yet pulsating rework, that has a seriously punchy bassline yet retaining the beauty from the original. Big!

Song Against Songs, The by G. K. Chesterton (1874 - 1936) LibriVox LibriVox volunteers bring you 9 recordings of The Song Against Songs by G. K. Chesterton. This was the Fortnightly Poetry project for October 16, 2011.Chesterton was a large man, standing 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m) and weighing around 21 stone (130 kg; 290 lb). His girth gave rise to a famous anecdote. During World War I a lady in London asked why he was not 'out at the Front'; he replied, 'If you go round to the side, you will see that I am.' On another occasion he remarked to his friend George Bernard Shaw: "To look at you, anyone would think a famine had struck England". Shaw retorted, "To look at you, anyone would think you have caused it". P. G. Wodehouse once described a very loud crash as "a sound like Chesterton falling onto a sheet of tin."( Summary from Wikipedia ) The Elevate Within Parsha Journey Ezra Balsam Welcome to the Elevate Within Parsha series where we feature weekly Parsha revelations to ignite inner growth 🧨📈🤩Previous recordings are posted on our podcast here:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/elevate-within-an-elul-journey/id1702861676. Keeping Records Headgum In 1977, NASA sent the Voyager into space with two records known as the “Golden Records.” On them were recordings of notable historic music, evocative nature sounds, and murmurs from contemporary life, all used to paint a picture of humanity and the world at large. Things have changed a lot since 1977, so Caleb Hearon and Shelby Wolstein are trying their hand at an update. They're talking with comedians, musicians, and the like about what they would include on their own “golden record” if a new one were sent today. Songs, images, films, and moments are all on the table in this comedic reflection on art, media, and culture.
