Liam Delap Out at Chelsea | Chelsea F.C. News

Liam Delap’s Chelsea stint is over — he’s off to Nottingham Forest for a potential £50m windfall after just one underwhelming season. Signed for £30m from Ipswich, injuries and limited impact (just 2 goals in 41 games) made him expendable as the club focused on new striker targets. Despite winning the Club World Cup, his time at Stamford Bridge didn’t pan out as hoped. His exit kicks off a busy transfer window for Chelsea, who are reportedly close to selling Nicolas Jackson to Aston Villa for up to £65m and Marc Guiu to Napoli for £25m — potentially netting a staggering £140m total. For Delap, though, it’s about finally getting regular minutes elsewhere. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
