Library Glow-Up Sparks Reading Love | Las Vegas News

William Lummis Elementary just got a $50K library upgrade—brand-new tables, chairs, and a book vending machine where kids earn tokens to take home their own books. Funded by the College Football Playoff Foundation, this project is part of a nationwide effort that’s already transformed 100+ schools—with School Specialty as a key partner. It’s the first such upgrade in the district, but 14 more schools are on deck, with nearly $3M pouring into learning spaces. Principal Gina Campbell hopes it sparks real love for reading and builds stronger community ties, turning libraries into inspiring hubs for academic growth and student safety.
