Liesl Louw-Vaudran on African politics and current affairs.

Liesl Louw-Vaudran is a consultant and analyst, focusing on African politics and current affairs. She has lived in Francophone West Africa and has been traveling across Africa for the past twenty years in my professional capacity as foreign correspondent, Africa editor at Media24 and editor of publications of the Institute for Security Studies (ISS). Currently she writes a weekly analysis on African issues for the ISS Today and regularly contributes to the Mail&Guardian newspaper in Johannesburg. Throughout her career Liesl’s say “I have sought to promote greater understanding of what is happening in Africa”.
