Lieutenant Jangles (2017)

Hey Cannon Cruisers fans! This week, we’re diving into the absurd world of Lieutenant Jangles (2018), an Australian send-up of 1980s cop movies that’s loud, crude, and completely over-the-top. Matt Dickey stars as the foul-mouthed Lieutenant Jangles, who blasts his way through crime, chaos, and more than a few groin shots in a film packed with low-budget mayhem and nonstop vulgarity. We take a look at the film’s commitment to juvenile humour, its action-packed set pieces, and the odd charm that keeps it moving. With a constant stream of dick jokes and shameless nods to genre clichés, Lieutenant Jangles leans hard into parody. Tune in as we break down whether this one earns its cult status or just revels in the chaos.
